Ductless Air: all the benefits of central air, without the ducts!
Let’s say you’ve added a room to your home that your central cooling and heating system doesn’t reach, or you already have a room that isn’t air conditioned, but you’d like it to be.
That’s the idea behind a ductless air system, one of the “coolest” new ideas in air conditioning to come along in years: a system you can purchase for air conditioning only, or air conditioning and heating combined.
Each ductless system can cover up to four rooms from the same condensing unit with no ductwork whatsoever. Instead, the system’s air enters your living space through wall-mounted blowers.
Ductless air systems (also known as mini-splits) deliver top energy efficiency and remote control operation, and they’re quiet. Plus, the blowers can be mounted on the floor, wall, ceiling, in a closet, or anywhere else to complement your home décor.
